Noticeboard

CLOSURE 12 - 21 AUGUST 2026

As part of a national rollout, our practice will be changing to a new clinical system.

This is a major change for the practice and from 12 August to 21 August we will be able to provide emergency services only.

We expect to be fully back on line from 21 August, although we may be operating at a slightly reduced capacity for a short time while our team adapts to the new system.  This change will affect both our clinical and administrative services.

Please note that between 12 August and 19th August we WILL NOT be able to issue repeat prescriptions.  Our prescription line will also be closed during this time.  We kindly ask patients who are due repeat medication during these dates to order it at the beginning of August where possible.

We will continue to keep you updated with any important information and thank you for your patience and understanding while we make this transition.

Welcome to The Green Medical Practice

With patient’s needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.

Who Should I See?

Health problem or question? Please click here for our Who to See? Tab under the Clinics & Services Menu. The NHS in Scotland is investing considerably in many different and highly skilled health professionals to advise and treat you, often quicker and easier than your GP can. This gives faster access to the GP for those that have more complex problems.  For example your local pharmacist can treat urine infections and impetigo as well as most minor ailments, usually free of charge and without an appointment. Similarly Opticians are now your first point of contact for most eye problems. There is direct access for many pregnancy related concerns, self referral to physiotherapy, many services available direct from Clydebank Social Work. Click Here for more info.

Get Well, Keep Well

Of course we’re not just here for when you are unwell. Our team of healthcare professionals and back-up staff offer a number of clinics and services to promote good health and wellbeing whatever your medical condition.
